The usual ingredients of cream, butter and highly processed white sugar have been replaced with more nutritious, sustainable and delicious alternatives. Each different flavour of fudge is packed full of organic super foods so you can treat your body to the good stuff whilst enjoying a piece of pure plant based witch craft.

The sweet stuff

Here in the lucky cats' lab our fudge is sweetened with maple syrup and coconut palm sugar.

Coconut palm sugar was ranked as the most sustainable sweetener in the world in 2014 by the united nations. It is not chemically treated in any way and contains no artificial ingredients. This sweetener is much lower on the glycaemic index than white sugar, scoring 35 as opposed to between the 60-75 commonly found with the latter. It also contains a number of trace elements, vitamins and minerals.

Maple syrup is also significantly lower on the glycaemic index than refined white sugar and contains several antioxidants as well as minerals such as zinc and manganese.

By using these sweeteners the effects on the blood sugar levels from eating this fudge are far less drastic then eating products packed with white sugar.
